Make an I WILL Commitment online by choosing an 80% Opportunity area of focus and one small step you can take today to support your goal. The best news, Basecamp will be right alongside you by sharing resources and encouragement to help move you forward on your path.

Wishing Tree

Taking the concept of a wishing tree – sharing your hopes and dreams publicly – we’ve created an interactive exhibit by placing individual heart health commitments into action. The tree displays a handwritten note of one small step supporting your 80% Opportunity. Our hope is that seeing the many heart-focused commitments hanging on the tree will inspire others to turn a health hope or a wish into something they will work toward during 2025 and perhaps share that as well.

Let’s take the I WISH to I WILL and create a sense of community by gathering these commitments: the next steps to living a best, healthiest life.

Visit this exhibit throughout the month at the following locations around Portland, Oregon:

  • Basecamp Prevention + Wellness: 9427 SW Barnes Rd, 1st Floor, Portland, OR 97225 (M-F, 8am-5pm)

  • Providence Health Center - Reed’s Crossing: 7305 SE Circuit Dr, 2nd Floor, Hillsboro, OR 97123 (M-F, 8am-5pm)


Providence Caregivers, here’s how to earn Choose Well bonus points: Participate in the interactive Wishing Tree exhibit displayed at area Providence facilities (see locations above).

  • Make an I WILL Commitment via the online form

  • Write one small step for heart health you’ll take today on one of the paper hearts. Hang your heart on the tree.

  • You’ll can scan the Choose Well QR code at this exhibit to access for your voucher code.

Providence, along with the American Heart Association, encourages you to know your risks for heart disease by knowing your numbers and taking steps to help lower that risk through movement, nutrition, and wellbeing practices. Let’s work together to curb this leading cause of death within the United States.
