Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance is an evidence-based practice developed by Dr. Fuzhong Li at the Oregon Research Institute utilizing the 24-form Yang style. This low-impact approach places an emphasis on improved balance supporting everyday movement. Gain confidence, stability, strength, and mobility in a fun and supportive environment.

Those new to this Tai Chi practice can enjoy our beginner-level class offering an introduction to the primary forms 1-12. And when ready move into the intermediate level to expand the practice to the full 24 forms.

RECOMMENDED LEVEL (learn more): Beginner, Beginner-Friendly, Intermediate
Participants should be able to walk easily with or without assistive devices.

REGISTRATION: First time participants are required to register. You will receive an automated email confirmation with the online access link and helpful information about attending class in-person.

LOCATION (Get to know our locations.): Our Tai Chi classes are available as live taught, virtual classes and in-person (Portland, OR) at our West Portland studio location. You can choose which level and location option works best for you or do a blend of both!
