I WILL: Track My Steps

MOVING MORE CAN MAKE YOU HEALTHIER,

lower your risk of chronic disease, and help you feel better. Devices that track steps, such as pedometers, can help keep you motivated and mindful; they have also been shown to increase weight loss. The more you monitor your activity, the more likely you are to stay on track. There are tracking devices in every shape, size, and cost. You may even already have one in your pocket! Most modern smart phones have built-in pedometers.

Start Small: Challenge yourself with a daily step count goal. When you have achieved it consistently for four weeks, double it.

Finish Remarkable: Challenge others, too! Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to track their steps – celebrate each other when personal goals are reached each week.

How can we help? Basecamp offers resources to support your wellness around this topic!
